First Tree Nursery of BSP’s “Go Green” Project
October 2, 2008 — Barely a year since it was built and made operational, the first Tree Nursery under the “Go Green, Go for the Real Thing” project of BSP and Coca-Cola Philippines is now in full-scale production. More than 2,000 tree seedlings and saplings of various tree varieties (e.g. hard wood, ornamental, erosion control, etc.) are now available to supply the many tree planting activities lined up by the BSP, with hundreds of new seedlings added every week.
The BSP Tree Nursery can supply youth organizations, like-minded NGOs, private businesses, private individuals, and other entities interested in procuring tree seedlings/saplings for their tree planting projects.

We are The Crusade Earth Movement, Inc. (CEM) a non-profit organization whose primary goal is to carry out programs and projects that promotes environment preservation with emphasis in the field of mountaineering.
In the past years, our organization has successfully conducted various Mountain Clean-up Drives, Tree Plantings and Environment-related Information Dissemination Campaigns.
To continue our advocacy, we will start the year with a Tree Planting activity at Mount Manduweng in Carigara, Leyte on April 10-12, 2009. Along with this activity, an Environmental Awareness Campaign will be done on the said town to support the on-going Coastal Reforestation Project in Carigara Bay. We share everyone’s goal in preventing another adverse incident in the Province of Leyte.
May we request from your good office the required plants and the proper endorsement with your respective provincial branch for the necessary coordination for the said project. Any other help that you could extend to us will be greatly appreciated.
