(CEM) a non-profit organization whose primary goal is to carry out programs and projects that promotes environment preservation with emphasis in the field of mountaineering. In the past years, our organization has successfully conducted various Mountain Clean-up Drives, Tree Plantings and Environment-related Information Dissemination Campaigns. To continue our advocacy, we will start the year with a Tree Planting activity at Mount Manduweng in Carigara, Leyte on April 10-12, 2009. Along with this activity, an Environmental Awareness Campaign will be done on the said town to support the on-going Coastal Reforestation Project in Carigara Bay. We share everyone’s goal in preventing another adverse incident in the Province of Leyte. May we request from your good office the required plants and the proper endorsement with your respective provincial branch for the necessary coordination for the said project.
