Three Hundred Seventy Boy Scouts joined about 70 other volunteers that included businessmen, generals, school teachers, and students in planting 550 trees across the walled city of Intramuros, a Philippine Heritage site, on January 10, 2009.
The Intramuros Tree Planting event is the latest in the series of tree planting projects undertaken by the Boy Scouts of the Philippines (BSP) under its “Go Green!
