“Go Green! Go for the Real Thing” is an environmental partnership project between the Boy Scouts of the Philippines and The Coca-Cola Bottlers Philippines, Inc.

Project Description

This project is aimed to contribute in achieving one of the Millennium Development Goals (MDG), launched by the U.N. Secretary General to encourage national governments to take action to ensure environmental sustainability. This is the Boy Scouts of the Philippines answer to the MDG, in partnership with The Coca-Cola Bottlers Philippines, Inc.

The Boy Scouts of the Philippines will establish Green House Nurseries that will be called “BSP Scout Nursery” located at different designated BSP owned properties in the local council, which will be funded by the Coca-Cola Bottlers Philippines, Inc. for five years.

This is an environmental project initiated at national level and will be implemented at local council. After establishing the project, it is planned that the Scouts through a merit badge series will implement the project for continuation and maintenance.
